My goal is for you to feel like yourself in your photos. I have found that oftentimes, people feel most uncomfortable when they are trying to pose in a way that feels unnatural to them. Because of this , I will never make you pose in a way that feels awkward to you.

My favorite way to take photos is in a candid way. I love to capture moments in which you are exploring, doing things, and interacting with your environment in a natural way. If you are interested in this candid style of photos, you won’t have to pose at all!

However, in many cases, posing is necessary. In those cases I will share some of my favorite resources ahead of time, with tips on how to move naturally to look great for the camera. This will give you time to try things out in the privacy of your home, to decide what you like and don’t like, and to come up with ideas of your own!

I’m all for capturing photos that feel candid, without stiff or fake posing. I aim to edit in a way that feels natural, but that draws the eye to the light, color, and patterns that often take our breath away in person.

I love natural skin tones, warm lighting, and beautiful natural backdrops that always work with you to make a beautiful composition.

Because my goal is to capture you as naturally as possible, I only do minimal retouching in my photos. I even out subtle skin-tone variations in a natural way that works with the lighting in your photos. I will also remove small temporary blemishes, bruises, or marks. I don’t alter body shape, or the natural imperfections that make you unique such as wrinkles, birth marks, or facial features.

Since the winter of 2023 I am based out of Westchester County, NY. Before this, I was based of Santa Fe, NM, hence the desert look in a lot of my work. I love to travel, and would be happy to work with you if you were interested in my services outside of Westchester County.

During our phone call we will discuss the type of look you would like for you photos. Based on that, I will offer possible locations that we could use.

If you have a particular location in mind, even better! I am happy to capture you in your favorite places!

I love to work with the weather, as I think it adds to the candid nature my style. However, I also want to make sure to provide a fun experience for you. If the weather is bad enough to make us uncomfortable, or to put my gear at risk, we will reschedule the photoshoot for the next available date that works for both of us.

I cannot reschedule based on weather preference. If we are hoping for a specific type of sunny sunset picture, but it turns out to be cloudy, we will have to work with the conditions, as I will unfortunately not be able to reschedule. I’m excited to take photos in all conditions, as I think that every weather type has special advantages when it comes to photography style.

The clothes that you wear can have a huge effect on your final pictures. Not only because they can make you look amazing, but also because colors and textures can work with your surroundings in unique ways. The best color to wear in a green, forested area may be very different than the ideal color in a brown desert landscape. Based on this, I will give you some flexible clothing guidelines ahead of time, based on our location of choice. Of course, you should work with what you have, and are comfortable in. If you have a particular outfit in mind from the beginning, let me know and we can choose a location that will compliment your outfit.

Of course! Pets are extremely photogenic. Also, did I mention I like candid photos? Pets that want to play around rather than sitting still posing for a photo are the perfect recipe for candid moments.

Each pet counts as a subject, and based on the package that you choose, there may be limitations to the number of pets you can have. If you want to take photos of your family of three plus your pet, your pet would count as a 4th family member.

• If we are 2 weeks ahead of your photoshoot, I will work with you to find a better date for you photoshoot without any additional fees. A photoshoot can only be rescheduled once. So if we have already moved it and you would like to reschedule it again, the scheduling deposit will not be refunded, and a new deposit will be necessary to secure a new date.

• Within the 7 days ahead to the shoot, the deposit is legally non-refundable. You will have to make a new deposit to secure a new date.

• If you don’t show up to your appointment, this will count as a no-show. There will be no reimbursements in this case, and you will have to pay in full to schedule another session in the future.
